A successful franchisee doesn’t require a specific background.  It isn’t essential to be an educator, physician, psychologist, or to have a business background.  Our system has franchisees from all of those arenas.  What is essential is an intrinsic desire to change lives in your community. Any of our franchisees, center directors, and even trainers will tell you that the most important qualification of a LearningRx Franchisee is a passion for making a difference.  At the center of what we do is a desire to change lives – to make learning easier, to improve quality of life, and to change the way people look at learning struggles.  Our business is built on changing and expanding the way that people look at learning and the brain, so a qualified franchisee is one who is comfortable with and expects frequent change – because our industry is still new and evolving.

It’s also important to have an entrepreneurial spirit.  A LearningRx franchisee has to be motivated to reach their community – through interactions with schools and professionals in their area, and by supporting their students and families so that they can help you sell your product to their friends and neighbors.  It’s important to make connections, market in the community, and think creatively about your business.  

Finances
In today’s economy, it can be difficult to secure financing for a small business.  We require our franchisees to have access to, or the ability to obtain, around $200,000 in liquid assets.  That being said, obtaining a Small Business loan is a possibility, and access to funds is not the most important qualification for becoming a LearningRx Franchisee.
