I cannot think of anything more exciting than choosing to do something that will have a lasting impact on a person's life. As I made the decision to uproot my family and move to another town to open a LearningRx center, I had little hesitation. The risk of starting a career change with a newly franchised company did not seem nearly as heavy, however, as the burden I was carrying for the children I knew need another answer. As a LearningRx franchisee, there is not a day that goes by that I don't hear from a parent or a child about the positive impact this program has had on their lives. I have seen the lives of children changed forever by this program. I have had distraught parents cry in my office during a consultation and then hug me at the end of the program because of the change in their child. We aren't talking small changes. We are talking about a smile of confidence on a child's face, the ability and desire to pick up a book and read, the 'I can do anything' attitude that the student leaves with. It is amazing to have a job I believe in and one where I can say that we change lives.
