Brain Training and TBI

dreamstime_xxl_38143891As a LearningRx franchisee, you’ll encounter all types of people, including parents who are eager to help their children succeed, and students who are reluctant to practice their brain training programs. You’ll also encounter parents who are taking care of their older children, either because of a learning disability or because their son or daughter has suffered a traumatic brain injury (TBI). While these situations can be heartbreaking, the parents still believe and want to see their children succeed, and you can be a part of that success.

The Challenges That Come with TBI

There can be many challenges that come with TBI, including difficulty thinking, memory loss, and mood swings and frustration. In a student profile that LearningRx conducted with a 33-year-old TBI victim, there were notable gains in all seven cognitive skills. In visual processing alone, the student showed an increase of 26 percentile points, moving from just above the 50th percentile to just above the 75th percentile. In auditory processing, the student showed a gain of 55 points, moving into just above the 80th percentile. While there can be challenges with those suffering from TBI, our brain training programs have shown that there can be success!

If you know someone who has suffered a TBI, or you want to help those who have been struggling with a loss of speed, attention difficulties, and other challenges, please contact us today. We’d love to tell you about our brain training franchise opportunities, and how you can open a LearningRx location in your town or city.
