Questions to Ask Before Starting a Tutoring or Education Business

Hi, I’m Tanya Mitchell, a certified franchise executive. I work with my father, Dr. Ken Gibson, who is the founder of the world’s largest personal brain training franchise and licenses opportunities and together we have authored the book “The Purpose Directed Business”

Today, I want to share some business selection ideas that I think will really help you; as well as information on why people choose our business opportunity - which is very unique and highly needed all over the world – because by building brainskills we target the CAUSE of learning struggles rather than just the symptoms which is what tutoring targets – so LearningRx programs - produces lasting results and happier customers.

But first, let’s concentrate on you and your needs.

We have learned that by asking you a few questions we can help you determine the business opportunity that best meets your skills and more importantly your desires. These questions will give you direction in finding the perfect business fit.

When it comes to a growing successful business, you need to start with a success model that includes:

· an outstanding product or service

· an efficient business system

· a strong marketing and sales plan that is honest and geared to your customer’s best interest

· a growth plan that allows you to reach your financial goals but is also achievable

· product that has great results so that your customers will refer their friends

· a product with an unlimited supply of customers

The challenge is this: in seeking the right business opportunity - with hundreds of different options, it’s sometimes difficult to have enough perspective to identify what sets one apart from the other. Solving this problem for you is what my team and I do all day, every day.”

Here are some potential bottlenecks that make it tough in selecting a business.

· Knowing the real profit formula

· Knowing the effectiveness of the products or services

· Having satisfied customers

· Knowing what marketing works and how to close a sale

· Knowing how best to manage the business and how easy or hard it is to provide the service - because history shows that the easier it is to provide a service, the greater the competition, which leads to a lower profit margin

So even though you may have had an idea of what business you were going to enter – pause a second and consider this: There’s a reason why it is difficult to figure out what’s BEST for you because we’re bombarded with so much noise. Simply put: it’s tough to see the real gem of an opportunity when so many pursue you with claims of “how much you can make” – and ignore – things that are important to you like making a real difference in this world and living out your purpose. I think most people really want both!.”
