FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
No, you do not need an education or business background to open a LearningRx center. Many LearningRx owners come from completely different professional backgrounds, and some of the most successful franchisees are parents who first experienced LearningRx through their own family. What matters most is a passion for helping others, strong people skills, and a willingness to learn. We provide comprehensive training, systems, and ongoing support to help you grow into the role with confidence.
While brain training is a fun and engaging experience for students and trainers alike, LearningRx owners are not typically the ones delivering sessions. Instead, owners build and lead teams of certified trainers who work one-to-one with students. Owners stay closely connected to families and outcomes, but the recommended role is focused on leadership, team development, community relationships, and growing the center. During the exploration process, we’ll help you think through what ownership could look like based on your strengths, goals, and lifestyle.
LearningRx provides comprehensive training and ongoing support to help you grow into ownership with confidence. Before opening, you’ll receive training in the LearningRx model, center operations, hiring, leadership, marketing, and business fundamentals. Once your center is open, you’ll have continued coaching, proven systems, marketing resources, and a community of franchisees and support staff to help you navigate challenges and grow. You’ll be in business for yourself — but never by yourself.
The timeline to open a LearningRx center varies, but most franchisees spend 3-6 months preparing for a strong launch. Our goal isn’t just to help you open quickly; it’s to help you open well. Together, we’ll work through training, hiring, marketing, and community outreach so you can begin building momentum before your doors open. Many new owners line up their first assessments through personal connections, referrals, and local relationships, helping them start with families already excited to begin.
For many owners, LearningRx becomes more than a business. It becomes meaningful work and an important part of their next chapter. While every situation is different, most franchisees transition into an active ownership role because they have a deep desire for meaningful work. During the exploration process, we’ll help you think through what this transition could realistically look like for your goals, family, and lifestyle. Many owners are drawn to the opportunity to build something meaningful in their own community, create a schedule that works for their family, and spend their time making a real difference in people’s lives.
Your personal definition of success will be up to you, but here’s what we know: Over and over, our franchisees tell us that they are passionate about what they do, and that this work is meaningful and fulfilling. Seeing a child’s confidence grow, watching students make meaningful progress, and hearing about easier, faster learning never gets old. You already know from firsthand experience that changing a client’s life has a ripple effect on their family, friends, classmates, coworkers, and communities. It’s easy to see your success in the transformations of your students!
That’s completely okay. You don’t need to have everything figured out to start exploring whether LearningRx ownership could be a fit. Many franchisees begin with curiosity, questions, and a desire to learn more—not certainty and a business plan. A first conversation is simply a chance to get to know each other, answer questions, and explore what ownership could look like for your life, goals, and family. No pressure. No expectations. Just a conversation.
